Our Website Data Privacy Policy

MCGI will never release data collected in electronic or physical form to any outside party unless compelled to do so by a legitimate law enforcement agency operating within its jurisdiction and with legal cause.

We do cooperate with law enforcement agencies when they are acting within their legal jurisdiction.

We will never sell our client list. We will only use the data internally within the companies formed under McBride Consulting Group Inc., now and in future. A comprehensive list of these companies is available on request.

We will use our client email list on a permission-only basis to send email messages or newsletters to individuals registered on our system. We may occasionally send sales offerings not related to our training products.

We will use the data to research where our clients come from (country, city) and who they work for, as part of our normal sales research to support of customer service.

Our email list is a double opt-in system. Not only must you give explicit permission for us to contact you using the email address supplied to us during registration or downloads, but all communications will have an "unsubscribe" capability. Any messages you get from our automated system will allow you to unsubscribe.

Any client may request their record be expunged. All individual information is removed and the record is renamed: "BLANKRECORD". General data regarding classes attended, invoicing etc. is retained by us, but all descriptions of the individual are removed.

Our data is housed in a secure Microsoft SQL Server database. We make all reasonable efforts to protect this data and are committed to staying current on security releases from Microsoft within 12 hours. We use industry standard firewalls and best-practice data collection standards. Every reasonable effort is taken to protect our hardware platform.

If our system is confirmed to have been attacked and broken into, we will inform you by email of the circumstances and data affected. We do not accept legal or financial responsibility for any damages resulting from such loss of data.

Staff accounts are disabled when staffing changes. Staff who violate our website privacy policies are immediately terminated.

Email communications are considered express written permission.

Our servers are secured under an SSL certificate from Verisign.

We do not store credit card information electronically. Credit card data is discarded as soon as the transaction is completed.

Credit card information contained on paper or fax forms are retained in our paper files once the transaction is confirmed by the credit card processor, as part of your registration paperwork. This information is not retained in any electronic form. If you wish to have this information destroyed, we will gladly do so upon request.
